One of my main interests outside of university is designing and making costumes to showcase at conventions. What I enjoy the most about conventions is being able to meet and socialise with such a wide range of people who can not only become friends but important resources for advice on different skill bases and contacts for future collaboration.

This costume was a mix of brought items and hand sewn. For the Hoody, i brought a white hoody and took it apart, cutting the ends of the sleeves off and then dying the right pieces lavender. I then put it back together and replaced the zip with a purple one. The ends of the sleeves were finished with an invisible seam.
